3 on 3

Jace team up with his BFF and his brother and one of his brother's friends for the West Point 3 on 3. They did really well taking third and had a lot of fun!

Jace's Sports Party

I usually try to do cute little themes for the kids' parties. I tried to talk Jace into all sorts of fun themes that I could do. But all he wanted was a sports party. So that is what it was, and it was a success! They swam, played football and basketball! I didn't even have to organize anything besides getting lots of food!

Double Digits!

Jace turned 10! I can't believe how fast they grow up! He got to celebrate up in Island Park with my family then at home with his friends.

Island Park

My parents bought a cabin this summer in Island Park and the whole family planned a week that we could be there together. It made for some good memories!!! We took a day trip to Yellowstone to see Old Faithful and West Yellowstone. It was so nice and relaxing! So glad they have a cabin now, I am sure we will all be using it a ton!

Baseball Championship

Trent coached Jace's rec baseball team and they won is all for the 2nd year in a row. Jace is so fun to watch, he puts his whole heart into whatever it is he is playing at the moment!

Big Mountain Jam 2011

Trent and Travis Burke took an AAU team down to the Big Mountain Jam for the first time and they won it all! The boys were really excited! Looking forward to many more "ships" to come!

2011 Whiting-Burgess Basketball Camp

The camp was a success again this year. Trent gives all the money back to the West Point community sports program and with the new helmets rule it was greatly needed. It feels good to give back to the community. I love being apart of something that means so much to Trent. He wants the kids to have the opportunity to learn the game of basketball without having to pay the huge fee to go to a good camp.

Baking Birthday Party

Amari's party this year was centered around the baking theme. They made mini pizzas, fruit kabobs, and decorated cookies and cupcakes until their hearts were content! There was a pinata, presents, and an ice cream cake. The girls had a ton of fun and I was exhausted in the end!

Pinewood Derby

Jace took 2nd in the Pinwood Derby for the 2nd year in a row! There's always next year... the best part is the time that they take to work on the car. It is so cute how much effort goes into this little wood car!

3rd set of Grandparents

We love these guys! Anna and Antonio...they have a fur coat shop just below our apartment so we see them several times a day as we come and go. They are always giving our kids treats and having us over for big family dinners with their family. Anna is an excellent cook and has taught me many dishes!
And when Trent is in Italy alone for preseason she always makes sure he is stocked with her special sauces so he can eat fast when he gets home from practice! It is so nice to have someone that is like family when we are far away from our own back home.
