Thankful

This Thanksgiving really crept up on me this year and before I knew it, was gone. Trent left for a road trip the next day and things settled down around our house, giving me time to think about being THANKFUL. Finding things to be THANKFUL for isn't hard, but I don't know that I ever do it out loud. Being overseas you soon realize that things aren't the same as back home, especially the HOLIDAYS! It makes me realize how much I took for granted before we started this adventure. I am so THANKFUL for the good families that we grew up in and good friends that we have shared so much with that we have back home, and for all their loving support of us. I AM very THANKFUL for my husband who is out working so hard to provide for our family. People think he has the "dream job" but they don't realize how hard he works and how he sacrifices to do what he does. I am THANKFUL for two of the greatest kids, they have the best personalities and make me laugh everyday! I am very THANKFUL to be a mother, to be able to stay at home with my kids, and watch them learn and grow. I am THANKFUL to be having all these experiences so that when the day comes that we are not traveling anymore I will honestly be able to CHERISH each and every holiday at home, with family and friends. I know that Thanksgiving is over and the Christmas season is here but I just wanted to take this small moment to share how truly THANKFUL I am for all the blessings in my life.

Doin their thing

Jace loves climbing trees, and Amari loves picking flowers. I love that the simple things in life make them happy.
